I Want an iPod!

I’d like to do some podcasting, so it would be really useful to have an iPod to make sure everything is working properly for downloads, and that it sounds reasonably good, and so on. So, I entered the following contest:

Michael Kwan and Ed Lau are working on a new hockey blog and they need your help! If you come up with a totally awesome name for their blog, you can win an 8GB iPod nano! More information about the contest can be found on Michael’s freelance writing blog and on Ed’s personal blog.

Mind you, I’ve already submitted a pretty cool name, so I don’t think there’s a need for anyone else to enter, eh?

Of course, I also sense that this is a sneaky, sneaky way of getting some links too. ;-)

It’s not easy sometimes, especially when it needs to be a name that’s not already registered! Fortunately, this one came to me right away, and it was available. I still think it’s a pretty good name, but will have to see how it fares when all the suggestions finish coming in.

Hopefully, after they register their preferred domain, they will publish a list of submissions, so we can see what people came up with.

I’ve got writer’s block on this, and all I can think of is four-letter words.
