I prioritize things, and sometimes I think I should just drop some of the backburner projects, but then I think that if I finish up some of the priority projects, then I can get to the other ones, only new priority projects crop up. And, just when you decide to drop an old project, things lighten up so that you can tackle it. Then, once you start, something else seems to sneak up and demand to move to the head of the line.

I'm always battling against time, it seems.

Funny thing is that the minute I have more time, I find some project or activity to more than fill it up...to the point where I'm right back where I started--battling against not enough time again. This year I tried to make a conscious effort to curb this rather masochist tendency...but no such luck. As a fellow procrastinator, it's not always a good idea to always strive to do more than I can handle. Case in point, I finally cut down on stuff and rearranged my priorities this year.

Now before you get all excited and rush to congratulate me, I should point out that now I'm a blogger and starting next week I'll be blogging for my university's newspaper. WHICH is giving my butterflies in my stomach since as you well know from my "Niche-Free" blog (aka where I write about anything and how it relates back to me) I don't really stick to one topic. And sticking to one topic is what they'll be requiring us to do...

But I'm digressing (is that really possible when you've bravely allowed me to babble on nonsensically about anything "within reason of course"). Basically, I'm saying that being pressed for time is a pretty constant feeling in my life, so much so that I seek it out when I don't have it (can not-ever-having-enough-time be an addiction with withdrawal symptoms?).

I've also seen bloggers do Personal Q&A's when they run out of post ideas. I think you should try it, Dan! We "q," you "a"! And I'm not suggesting this to garner a better idea of how to spar my sparring partner.

...well, not entirely.

I can understand time dividers, I had a Sister's wedding and my Dad's birthday last weekend and didn't get to write. What I did write I'm not finished with simply because it's an in depth type article I don't have time to write during the week...

However I think my readers won't mind since all they have to do is comment and enter my contest...since I'm getting no link love back it's a great motivator to be better prepared.

I however, think your blog is fantastic and you being a little busy isn't going to keep me from reading! Hope time gets a little easier to manage for you. :)
