Your sidebar appears light gray to me--no hint of a yellow tint! (I'm a poet and I...but, I digress.) Even if it did have a bit of a yellow tint, I'd have thought yellow and green would look fine together--though, of course, it's hard to say without actually seeing the specific shade.
