That’s neat, it looks so real. I would freak out if something like that flew overhead.
Thanks! The trees and clouds are real. I didn’t spend too much time on it. I faked the wings flapping in Photoshop by making a couple layers with just the dragon copied, moving the wings and then using regular and motion blurs to give simulate movement, as well as lowering the opacity. If you look closely, you can see the feet also moved a bit, but not as much as the wings. I also blurred the dragon so that it wasn’t in sharp focus, and, thus, looked more like an actual photo.
If I had wanted to spend more time on it, I could have done an animation, then taken scenes from the animation and made those as layers in Photoshop, adjusting the opacity and blur to give it the effect of movement while the camera shutter was open.
Freaky. Reminds me of ‘The Exorcist’ demon Pazuzu (sp?), which scares the %^&* out of me.
Pazuzu is more humanoid with four wings and no tail.
I think dragons are less scary than demons. A knight with a sword can take care of a dragon, but who knows what you’ll need to take out a demon.
You made that? Cool. I thought it was from a game.

geez… bringing back memories of the freaking flying monkeys… why did you do that?
