The Downside of Keeping Drafts in WordPress
Being able to store drafts in WordPress is a pretty handy feature. Of course, you’ll occasionally run into drafts that have inconvenient text such as this:
“As a special incentive, if [...snip...] before the end of this year (that’s December 31, 2007), I will write a special viral links story and include ALL the [...snip...]. That’s right–I will compose a story which will include links to as many as 10,000* bloggers!”
When I started that post on October 1st, reaching 10,000 bloggers by the end of the year was still a reasonable possibility. But now? Now I will have to change that date, won’t I?
Oh, yes, some details were snipped out of that snippet. Curious you are? Wait then you must. Hmmm, yes, wait then you must.
*That’s asterisk’d in the original post and explains why there could be fewer than 10,000. Ten thousand would be the maximum.
