I think what the blog is about is less important than what it is and what it does.

I'm not going to comment on any entries until after the deadline. That's one of those retroactive things I should have mentioned but didn't. But, to answer Jeanne's question, yes, multiple entries are allowed.

Dan,

I have to agree with JD that your original description is very good. However, I had to try my hand at it, since you've asked us to attempt it. I've gone 'round and 'round, trying to come up with the best way to express what I want to get across, as well as what you want to get across.

Anyway, here's my description:

dcrBlogs focuses on blogging, business, and brain power—with a bit of the great outdoors thrown in for good measure. Drop by and be motivated, challenged, inspired, entertained, and informed.

Are multiple entries allowed, in case I come up with a better idea?

I think your description is perfect---especially if you're incorporating "Believe. Act. Achieve!" It's so hard to be objective about how we describe our own works. We never think we've really caught the essence. You'll probably get some good ideas---and they'll be well worth considering, as objectivity is sometimes key, but no one knows what your blog is about better than you. And you've said it: simply, effectively, and succinctly.

I only have three words to describe your blog.

Dreams Come Real

It's inspirational and motivational. It fits your DCR title.

How does that sound?
