Now that Joanne has finally switched to WordPress, it’s time for me to move up and try something new. I am giving MarsEdit a try. This is my first post, written in MarsEdit, which will then be posted to my WordPress blog. The advantage here is that I can write posts for any of my blogs from one application without jumping from blog to blog. Should save a bunch of time. I don’t even have to be connected to the Internet to compose a post, though I do need to be connected to post!

The downside is that I cannot manage comments this way. I still need to login to each blog separately for that. Oh, well, maybe version 3 will add that capability. (Fingers crossed!)

I can “write, preview and publish” my post without ever launching my web browser! Looks like I can timestamp my post as well.

All-righty then! Let’s “Send to Weblog” and see what happens!
