Naked Sultry Links

Maybe I’ll just use the words “naked” or “nude” or “hot naked” in my titles from now on. What do you think? Anyway, here are some links for some fine weekend reading. Except for the first link, which is my entry for winning a pen from John Chow.

  1. The root of all evil, John Chow, is giving away an $80 Waterman pen from the promotional pens maker, 1234Pens.com. To enter, you just have to blog about it, like this. On the first read, I thought he was giving away a watermelon pen, which sounded a bit more interesting to me for some reason. But, then again, you all know by now that I’m not like other people.
  2. The writers’ strike is apparently over. There goes our chance to get on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. But, there’s still hope of getting on Letterman… Oh, and check this out on the lack of woman writers.
  3. The Singing, Ringing Tree. This is kind of neat: a musical sculpture. Not sure that I’d want to live near it, but I’m sure it’s a nice place to visit.
  4. Why Guest Bloggers are Great for a Blog. Have I mentioned you’ll soon see a guest blogger here? Maybe as soon as next week. Assuming my mystery guest blogger doesn’t come to his or her senses before then, because guest blogging might be risky.
  5. How to Increase Blog Subscribers. Lots of great links I should probably read sometime.
  6. Tip for Personal Branding in the Digital Age. #5 Have you name branded on the foreheads of young children. They’ll remember you for life. Oh, wait. Sorry, I was thinking of something else
  7. Three Steps to Get What You Want with the Least Amount of Effort. So, how do I get past step one?
  8. Ultimate Credit Link Hookup. Self-explanatory.
  9. Why ugly guys get pretty girls. Money, anyone? Anyone? How many pretty women do you see hanging out with ugly poor guys? There’s a long read to get there but, yeah, it’s the money.
  10. You Can Do This! In debt? Know someone in debt? Read or have them read this.
  11. Mike presents his Top Ten Lists of Lists.
  12. Phil offers a simple home alarm system. Downside is that it’s not very effective if you’re a heavy sleeper or have a car made in the early 90’s.
  13. 30 Things to Do to Keep from Getting Bored at Work. No, those silly USB toys aren’t among them.

And, there you are. Thirteen+ links to keep you happily reading this weekend. But, of course you’ll still be popping in over here to see what I’ve got going on, right?

I agree with Darren - guest bloggers are great. Of course if I get booted from guest blogging at Chris Bloczynski dot com - I’ll probably change my mind.

Who owns a car from the early nineties anyway? If you are a blogger you never sleep so forget the heavy sleeping part.
