Wednesday Tech Corner: Spam Sucks
Yesterday’s eMail debacle has been resolved, for now.
The server was so overwhelmed by spam that it affected even outgoing mail. Some mail was stuck in the outgoing box for about a week.
Thanks, spammers! Much appreciated that your efforts to sell me junk I’m not going to buy from you continually interfere with the normal operations of my mail server.
Spam is teh suxxors. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve wanted to write a book based solely on spam e-mail text. It would probably end up being a story about a prescription drug user who likes adult products and has a job that makes money without doing anything.

Yes, I agree spammers suck but then like mosquitoes what ever would we do with out them keeping us on our toes.
I wonder if they make DDT for spammers?
Spam gives us non-spamers a bad name. I’m wondering who your server is, but you might not want to say.
I have my own server. The problem isn’t with spammers using my server. (My server is not an open relay.) The problem is with all the spam they send to me and my various eMail accounts.
