Dear Ringtone Spammers
Dear Ringtone Spammers,
Surely, you have realized by now that, though I may occasionally link to a site like MyGPSCameraPhone.com, which is about camera phone pictures, this blog is not about cell phones. Nor music. So, it’s doubtful my audience is interested in your ringtones.
Note also that you don’t see any ringtone comment spam on this blog. No doubt, you will think you are clever and attempt to be the first. But, in doing so, you’ve obviously overlooked the Akismet logo, which indicates it has blocked 10,255 spam comments thus far. A number which, again no doubt, will rise shortly after I post this message. Note also that comments are moderated, so it’s really unlikely that you’re going to get past both me and Akismet.
And, if you do, no doubt some astute reader will notify me of your ringtone comment spam, and your comment will be promptly deleted.
At any rate, you are wasting your time. And mine. And my time is more valuable than yours because, you being a spammer, I really don’t hold you or your time in high regard at all. Try Google AdWords or something. Leave me alone.
And, if I do ever start talking more about ringtones, you can rest assured that your ringtone comment spam will still not be welcome here. So, best move along. Be somewhere else.
Ditto for my other blogs, especially the StampReport.com, which has nothing whatsoever to do with ringtones.
Much appreciated!

I was getting a flood of ringtone spam at one point but it has since disappeared. Maybe they moved on to your blog.
Maybe the link will steer them back to you.
