August Blog Earnings Guessaway
Last month, I gave everyone the opportunity to guess my gross earnings from blogging and related activities for the month of July.
I’m going to do the same this time around. Everyone who guesses, gets a link in the earnings report post.
To help you, let’s recall the previous reports:
June 2008: $16.71
July 2008: $95.76
I can also tell you the traffic, in terms of unique visitors.
June 2008: 910
July 2008: 2,585
August 2008: 2,006
And, since I have a general idea of what those earnings were (just waiting on the final summary for the month from one place), I can tell you one thing: diversification is important! In one area, my earnings were nearly four times what they were in July. But, in another area, my earnings were under one-fourth of what they were in July. Both July and August had one-time payments (from different sources) that will in all likelihood not repeat again, except if I find new one-time payments.

So I was doing my accounting last month and it has the entry in paypal that says to Canville Communications… that would be you right and so I recorded it as such.

Yes, that PayPal entry was for me, but I think you have it accounted wrong. It was for services to be rendered, which you made more difficult by not posting on your blog for many, many days. Messed up my plans. But, the service to be rendered is still forthcoming!
No, but an extra $6.20 would have given me a nice round amount.
