This Week (or So) in Blogging
Here’s what you’ve missed this week (or so) if you been living in a cave without Internet access.
Teeni’s friend BD launched a merciless attack against me. But, don’t worry. I’m keeping a list, and my minions (yes, that means you) will be coming up with ways to retaliate against them all. Every last one of them!
Bobby and Michelle both remembered 9-11.
John Chow launched the redesign of his blog with a new, boring, impersonal theme.
Michael Kwan waited, and waited some more, for a delivery.
Lewis and Joanne have both disappeared.
You know, I’m pretty sure that I have the best weight loss site on the Internet that no one’s reading.
Rolando feels teased by fall. Earlier this year, he did some remodeling. If you decide to do some remodeling, you might want to look into adding some beautiful sconces for lighting or a new fireplace.
Most kids are back to school now and, if you were at a loss for how to find the right book bags, you should have looked here to find the best book bags for school.
Doug has some good friends.
Andy Crofford wrote about search engine marketing. Meanwhile, I’ve been going batty trying to figure out why ads won’t show up on Thrifty Net Marketing dot Com. The code is right, the plugin is working, but no ads. I’ve run out of ideas, short of nuking the blog and starting all over.
Betshopboy had a moving experience.
JD claims to be moving, to avoid a little itty bitty mouse. If you ever decide to move, make sure your new home has a cool doorbell.
Deborah will stumble for you this weekend. Thanks, now I won’t be able to get this song out of my head.
Pete suggests his daughter has a mechanical mind and he still plays with Legos.
Beth is drowning in books. That’s one benefit of eBooks–they don’t take up as much physical space!
JoanHarvest doesn’t understand.
Awake in Rochester awarded me. Hmm. That didn’t come out quite right. Anyway, thanks!
Mike has been busy on his travels. Maybe someday he should try living the beach life now!
Speedcat has issues with squirrels.
Meleah Rebeccah’s mother has restroom bathroom issues. By the way, if your bathroom could use a fresher scent, you might want to consider using some reed diffusers for a more positive fragrant experience.
Jon finally put up a new photo but it’s a sad one.
Chanya doesn’t have Photoshop.
ChrisBlogging has a contest where you can win free business cards. There will be three winners, so if you’re not among them, here’s where you can go for free business card advice.
Jeanne starts a war of the words.
David talks about lies. Or was he lying?
Finally, have you ever been curious about wash detergent?

Ha ha you have blonde hair too… I am thinking about selling sissy panties on eBay - you’ve seen the links I believe, would you like some?
Good job - BD!
I have to say BD did an awesome job on that video. Isn’t Teeni awesome even with your “War” going on? We met recently and she is as awesome in person. I love this post. I’m going to have to check your weight loss site.
Cool, thanks for the recap Dan! I think I’ll just come here for updates to what’s going around the blogosphere. But I really should see everyone personally. Just gonna be another busy day offline. More garden work, then work tonight at 8pm PST. Booo!
I love my cave! It does have internet access, lol.
FYI - I subscribed to your weight loss program. I need to loose another 5lbs, lol.
Thanks for the mention, dcr.
Hmm. I don’t like the tone of that threat against my friends!
Aw. hey…thanks for the nod! Who knew public restrooms could be so dangerous!
Dan,
Thanks for linking to my “war of the words”–and also for weighing in on it!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Jeanne
That squirrel will not win !!!!!!!!!!!
Your welcome. And thanks for the link love. ;o)
Thanks for the link Dan.
Today is the Mid-Autumn Festival, please join me to experience Lantern Fantasy 2008
Does that doorbell site sell mouse-scaring doorbells?
But I’ve come back! Sorta…
Thanks Dan! I need to start doing my weekly link list again. I am working so much, I hardly have time to blog anymore!
Your weight loss site rocks! I’m sure traffic will pick up.
If I had Photoshop I’d create a fake RSS subscription banner for you that made people think the site was wildly popular and had 13,809 subscribers. I don’t think it would be believable if I created it in Paint . . . .
I am not lying!
