Reaping the Rewards of Ferret Bueller

Perhaps it’s difficult to tell, but these are happy chihuahuas.
Many moons ago, Doug had a contest to name his new ferret. I won, and got a $25 gift certificate from PetSmart. Thanks again Doug!
Anyway, the chihuahuas love cheesy bones. Actually, they are Exclusively Dog Best Buddy Bones™ Cheese Flavor Dog Treats, but it’s just so much easier to call them cheesy bones.
The local PetSmart used to have them, but they don’t carry them anymore. The only place to get them is online through their website. So, you buy in bulk to save on shipping.

Anyway, we’ve been out since before I won the gift certificate, and I finally got around to ordering some more.
And, they’ll have plenty of cheesy bones to last a while. You see, with Doug’s certificate, an online coupon and free shipping, I got a pretty good deal.
They were originally scheduled to arrive the last week of September, but I got a shipping notice yesterday that said they would be delivered today. When the FedEx guy never came and the doorbell never rang, I checked the shipping status, only to discover it had been left on the front porch. You’d think they would have rang the doorbell…
So, going out the front door, there was the box. And, now we have some happy chihuahuas. They’ll have incentive now to stay on their best behavior so they’ll get these cheesy bones they love so much.

Your chihuahuas are cute. What are their names?
Little One and Little Too.
First let me say your tan chihuahua is looking very “healthy”. I hope they both enjoy the bones.
Now you just gave me more grief to worry about not that I have FedEx as my only carrier for my new business. I hope they don’t leave my products on the front porch, especially if it is hot out
~Phil
Maybe if you send them “signature required” or something, you’ll be okay. I’m surprised they didn’t ring the doorbell, though. The UPS man always does.
On the other hand, if they just tote them around in a hot truck, I don’t know if that will be much better than leaving them on the porch.
My Chihuahua speaks French. All I have to do is look at her and say, “le woof?” and she starts to howl. Give it a try.
Maybe howling is her way of telling you to speak Spanish!
They’re darling. I LOVE chihuahuas. I don’t remember if you’ve been around long enough to read my paeans to chihuahuas, but they’re there.
Yer welcome
Yeah, thanks for making me search your blog for chihuahua. The first entry that comes up isn’t chihuahuas; it is crack. You could have warned me your chihuahua posts were NSFW.
Anyway, thanks again for the gift certificate. And, you did know that Talk Like a Pirate Day was two days before your comment, right? I hope you’re not seeing patients going, Ar, what’s in yer ear ya scurvy dog?
