Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!

Didn’t have many Trick or Treaters this year. I think it was under a dozen. Not many houses on our street have the lights on, so I think our neighborhood largely gets passed over.

Hope yours was happy and safe!

So this post is really about Halloween… it’s not secretly about your love affair with Twitter?

Wow! That’s more than we’ve had in the last ten years.

We live out in the country. When our kids were young, we took them into town for trick or treating.

Have a great weekend!

The final count was 13. That’s more than we’ve had probably in the last ten years. Used to get a lot more than that.

Mine was happy: turned out all the lights and watched The Thing. It was also safe: I resisted eating all the candy I bought for trick-or-treaters whose persistent doorbell rings I ignored.

They shouldn’t have been ringing the doorbell if the lights were out!

wow. how did you have time to put up a post with all the twittering you’ve been doing? And less trick or treaters is better because it = more candy for you. Don’t knock it! ;)

That’s because you weren’t reading my blog yet Halloween time last year.

I didn’t put out a single decoration and was at Friday Night Lights (high school football) all evening. Halloween simply passed me by. My nephew won his game to retain there #1 division standing though, WhoooHooo!!!
