Birds

For those of you that didn’t see Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds at too young an age and develop an irrational fear of birds, what kinds of birds would you like to be able to attract to your backyard?
I’m working on a guide, so I figured I’d see what types of birds others are interested in seeing, lest I overlook a popular one!

I love finches. They can be so colorful and although some may find they annoying, I adore their little peeps and honks. They always sound so happy when there is a bunch of them around, chattering away at each other.
Thanks. I’ve got finches covered. They’re not too hard to attract!
How about cardinals? Hummingbirds, obviously. You might also want to talk about keeping squirrels and other pests AWAY from the yard and feeders. Just a thought.
All covered. Thanks!
My back yard is full of ostrich and giant condor.

I thought I tried once… I don’t remember…
I did see Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds and I am always a little freaked out when I see too many birds in the sky!!
I have birds in the house, so they don’t really scare me.
Apparently I’ve got bats. Which is fine, since they eat mosquitoes.
Hummingbirds are awesome, too.
Bats here too. They’re pretty cool. Fun to watch. Maybe sometime I’ll get them on video!
How about ladderback woodpeckers? They are really neat birds!
Woodpeckers are covered. I’ll have to see if there’s anything that would be specific to ladderback woodpeckers. Thanks!
