And, he was a detective, and the one to discover it was he himself who committed the murder! If I remember right, it wound up where he was free during the day, but would have to go to jail at night to be locked up. This was, of course, many years ago. I have several ex-friends who have: one is awaiting execution, one has been executed and the others are in prison. On the other hand, it's the people who have never been in trouble that you might need to watch. For every criminal in jail, there is a thousand who remain uncaught. Basically, truth is stranger than fiction--no matter how wild it maybe. Perhaps doctors should be paid minimum wage and no kick-backs from drug companies.
