Watch out - Green Peace got all over Fox News for saying the same thing. Referring to a cold winter not really having global warming. But I am with you. Al Gore is all washed up.

Wasn’t there a global warming conference that was cancelled because of a snowstorm?

This is so funny!

Green Peace is about as smart as PETA. I have no problem with taking care of the environment as it doesn’t make sense to live in a mess. But people should use their heads. (BTW We’ve had more than one unusually cold winter these past years.)

I saw an article the other day (don’t know how accurate the article was) about anti-terror laws being used by local governments to spy on people to see if they were recycling properly. Hope we don’t see the day when someone is thrown in jail for not separating clear glass from colored glass or something.

This is so funny!

Green Peace is about as smart as PETA. You can believe in taking care of the environment without being stupid. SHEESH!

Thermometer’s broke, just like the sun: The Sun Has Lost Its Spots.

Not broken. It’s reasonably accurate when the sun isn’t shining directly on it. ;-)

The sun lost it’s spots??? Maybe they are fizzle shizzle dizzle ?

I love this post … but I could ruin it by showing a movie of ice melting (while I get massively wealthy and given nobel prizes) :-) :-)

Stick some snow in your freezer. It’ll sell for big bucks on eBay when it’s all gone outside. ;-)

It’s not broken, and it’s not the sun shining on it.

The thermometer is on the inside of the glass in the room the shot was taken from.

Obviously, Al has his thermostat set higher than he’d like to admit, lol.

Nope. The thermometer really is outside.

Gotta love the accuracy of Al Gore’s magic thermometer! It sees the heat other instruments miss:)

I gave this an SU

It is funny, and we need more funny!

If people are taking this seriously (ugh)… Maybe Al Gore simplified it too much.

Global warming would not mean the end of Winter, or that we will never have really cold Winters. More like Winter on average over the world and over the years would be a little warmer (doesn’t sound TOO bad) but also that Summer would be hotter on average over the world and over the years. Effects we would most likely notice are different weather patterns, different amounts of precipitation, changes in crop productivity, droughts, etc., etc. Some places might be nice! Some could really suffer catastrophically. Minor climate changes tend to be felt rather harshly by humans, other animals, and of course plants.

If we had significant global warming and it started to accelerate into runaway global warming, that could be lethal. I don’t think any scientists are really saying that has to happen

Usually it’s because something smells good in the kitchen.

But maybe that’s just me.

My guess is that Al Gore has been breathing on that thermometer and all his hot air is causing the temperature to rise.

[...] a chance that one of the thermometers is not giving an accurate reading. You mean like mine? Al Gore
