Office Cleaning Business to Earn Extra Money Video
As I mentioned, I worked on an “economic” video over the weekend. (Worked on it Friday too.)
Why? you ask.
Well, you see the Internet marketing “gurus” say you need to use video these days. People don’t want to read sales pages anymore. They want to spend a half hour watching a marketing video instead.
Personally, I don’t get it. I’d much rather read a sales letter, which I can read or skim through at my own pace, than sit and wade through a video which may or may not contain anything useful.
But, at any rate, I figured I’d give it a go…
So, you’ll remember that last fall I had a post on how you could “Earn Extra Money with Your Own Office Cleaning Business.” I decided to make a video for that.
Towards the end, it gets a bit out of whack. At first, YouTube was consistently chopping off the last 7 seconds of the video. After four or five attempts to get it uploaded without those 7 seconds getting chopped off, I tried a different approach: I added 7 seconds to the video and uploaded it. But, this time YouTube didn’t chop anything off, so there’s an extra 7 seconds to the final video…
But, it shouldn’t freeze on the Uncle Sam image for so long. That’s where the problem seems to be, but I’m not quite sure what it is. I’m going to try something later to see if it fixes it. But, it takes about a half hour to redo the video, and I don’t have time for that right now.
I think I may need to boost the audio a bit too.

Very useful tip. In that whey there won’t be need for worker who clean. And that’s why you will get extra money. Good thinking.

I like the video…it is clear and to the point.
a couple of suggestions would be, sharpen the color and slow your rate of speech. I am from the NorthEast so I understand fast speech, but some of your more southern regions may have a difficult time. And where are the people?

I don’t know if I can do much about the color. Some of the images don’t have a lot of color to sharpen. On top of that, YouTube seems to butcher the thing, so it doesn’t look as good as the original does on my computer.
Maybe there’ll be people when I can afford actors.
You Tube always destroys the integrity of all my videos.
I know. I follow their instructions, MPEG4 with AAC audio, and they still get butchered.

I think it is a good video. I’m not sure what video editing you are using but even some of the cheap video editors allow you to chop things from the end without having to redo the whole video. You should also be able to clip from the middle so there should be a way to shorten the freeze on Uncle Sam’s face. The question is - is it really freezing there or is that a byproduct of Youtube as well?

The chopping is all on YouTube’s side. So is Uncle Sam freezing. Uncle Sam should go across the screen, and then it cuts to the “more info” screen. Where the narration is saying “Visit our site today to learn more,” Uncle Sam should not be showing; instead, the “more info” screen should be showing.
I’ve got an idea what may be causing it; I don’t know why it would be causing it, but maybe later I’ll give it a try and see if it has an effect.
There really isn’t anything you can do to fix it. It happens when the video is compressed by YouTube. Ive tried a ZILLION video hosting sites, and they all have the same issue. The one website I use that allows MY VIDEOS to come out the clearest and fastest? Is a site called VIRB. I love it. Its much better than YouTube, but its not famous like YouTube
