Bottled Frustration

I feel pretty confident no one will be able to guess why I took a picture of this empty bottle.
Yes, it is a Coca-Cola bottle, for those wondering.
I hate the new caps on their small bottles. They’re hard to grip and turn. I guess they’re probably trying to save on plastic or something. Guess what? The whole bottle is plastic! So, for heaven’s sake, make the bottle cap large enough to grab onto.
Maybe they’re trying to save the environment or something. But, if that’s the case, it’s actually better for the environment if the bottle caps are larger. Small bottle caps frustrate people. Frustrated people throw bottles. Frustrated people stomp things. Frustrated people kick poor bunnies! Ergo, frustrated people are bad for the environment. Therefore, small bottle caps are bad for the environment!
Oh, but that’s not really why I took the picture. I’ll leave you to guess that one.

That’s just a sign you are getting old when you can’t the cap off something.
It’s a sign of poor design.
You took the pic so you could show off your new paper towels.
I would have had the paper towel design facing the camera if that were the case.
I need your help to figure out what is wrong with my comment field over at my blog. The date&time is obscuring the faces of my readers.
Is the code for the date wrapped in a DIV tag? Looks that way. Maybe you need to redefine the parameters of that DIV in your stylesheet or eliminate it and separate it with a BR or P tags.
Michelle got you there buddy !!!!! LOL LOL LOL
She better be careful. I think she’s older than me.
I think you are making a new space model
It’s a space bottle!
Sorry, but no. Good guess, though, as, in the past, I have thought of making a spaceship model out of common objects.
Thank YOU! I’ve noticed that too!
Frustrated people can also buy a cheaper cola that has an easier cap, saving time & money & blood pressure! I hope that Coke & Pepsi sees this. Can you send them a copy of this post please?
I just noticed the same caps are now on the larger bottles too!!! Don’t they want us drinking their stuff anymore???
I hope this isn’t another trick where you want us to just guess and then you never tell us the real answer. I’m going to guess you are testing out something new with your photography. Like with light reflections or something. I don’t drink soda much at all anymore but I do keep one of those rubbery grippy things in my kitchen at all times to help open jars and stuff. I think what you are saying here though is that it is not a true “grip” problem (as would be with like a metal cap on a pickle jar) but a short cap that doesn’t have enough surface area for you to get a good grip on it to open it.
I reveal the answer, eventually. I think the only unrevealed ones are the couch and bed photos, and that’s because I haven’t finished that project yet.
I don’t really drink any soda, but I know what you mean. Every so often I will buy a bottle of water, probably one that is bottled by Coke/Pepsi, and run into similar difficulties.
In regards to the photo, were you trying to determine the opacity of the paper towel, using the red/orange/green blob in the background as a metric?
Is it because you have a small bottle fetish? I’m just trying to guess hahaha
