Working Through the Weekend
I’ve spent this weekend gathering everything together for my taxes. Need to get that done, since the appointment with the accountant is this week. It’s a nice reminder of how much of our money ends up in the hands of the politicians, so they can spend it like there’s no tomorrow and demand we pay more.
And, to think that Benjamin Franklin thought that a government that collected more than 10% of a person’s income would be considered harsh.
So, anyway, you, and by you I mean you as well as Teeni, won’t find out what the bed and sofa were for. Not this weekend anyway.
I also took some time to update the Wedding Planner on one of my sites. I updated the design to freshen it up a little bit.
In so doing, I’ve discovered that apparently I must have some kind of internal update schedule. I initially put the page up in May of 2003. I updated the design on November 24, 2006. Now, nearly three years later on March 1st, I have updated the design once again!
I also took the Christmas items off of StampAndInk.com. No one bought any anyway, and it’s past Christmas now, so no sense keeping them around!
I also have in mind another office cleaning business video, which will hopefully be better than my first office cleaning business video! But, I know I won’t get that done this weekend either!
Well, I better get back to it!

I did a preliminary dry run on my taxes … ohhh &#%@! Nothing like a wake up call.
I then sang this song ….
IIIIIIeeeeeiiieiieieieieieeiiii EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEahEEEEEEEEEEEahhhEEEEEEEE
Taxes. Ugh.
Oh brother. Still waiting on the mini bed and sofa. Sheesh. By the way, on your wedding planning site - the second page, “putting the pieces together,” has a chart of costs but it appears that your maximum and minimum column are switched. Maybe you can just switch the headers around to fix it. Just thought I’d mention it to you (because I’m super good at finding mistakes like that unless I happen to make them myself - LOL).
Thanks! You’re the first person in 6 years to see that. Maybe you’re the only one whose ever actually read it!
Taxes. I am so not ready to deal with that! I love the BLUE color on the blog though!
Thanks! You are the FIRST person to notice the change in colors!
I have been putting actually doing my taxes off, but I have all my paperwork together now, so it is just a matter of sitting down and doing them now.
I like to think that if Ben Franklin came back now, taxes would be low on his list of objections.
You never know.
Please consider this as your engraved invitation to the awards ceremony at my site.
Thanks!
I like the blue too … am I floating in a balloon across DCR City??
If that thought makes you happy, why not?
