Honest Scrap Award & Its New Victims, er, Recipients
Way back in, um, like a week or so ago, AiR tagged me with the Honest Scrap Award. I’m supposed to tell you ten honest things about me and then pass it along to seven victims friends.
So, okay, let’s give this a go.
1. After high school, I took a year off school instead of going to college the following year. I was going to become a full-time writer. Publish novels, have movies made. That went well.
2. I prefer tea to coffee. I only drank coffee about once or twice a year, and now that restaurant where I used to have coffee once or twice a year is closed.
3. I was going to tell you why I stopped blogging for a time last March, but I’m not quite ready yet. Sorry.
4. I sometimes feel bad my family line ends with me.
5. When I was a kid, I wanted to be a paleontologist when I grew up.
6. When I was a kid, I wanted to learn Latin, because in school we learned that was the language scientists spoke. I thought they meant that literally. You shouldn’t tell kids stuff like that. Say they use Latin, not that they speak Latin!
7. I took two years of Latin in high school. I did well.
8. I try to strike a balance between science and religion. I do not believe that faith and reason are exclusive of one another.
9. I think time travel would be great, as long as you had a decent time machine. It would be great to go anywhere in time, see how things really were. Visit the past, see the future. Combine that with decent immortality, and how could you ever be bored with a whole universe of time and space to explore and experience?
10. I hope that death is not the end, that the journey continues in ways we have yet to discover or experience.
I pass this along to: Teeni, Rolando, Speedy, Michelle, Deborah, Jessica and JD, because I wonder if there are ten things we don’t already know about her!

Boy, it’s going to be tough to come up with even FIVE things you don’t already know about me, but I’ll give it a go!
You like challenges though, right?
….. I won, something?

Here you gp Pa … http://speedcathollydale2.blogspot.com/2009/03/dcr-gives-cat-award.html
I cannot keep track of you and all your blogs.
Oops - sorry I’m late but I doubt there is anything anyone on the blogs doesn’t know about me yet. LOL. I’ll make some stuff up, okay? Thank you for the award though - it’s nice to be thought of. And I’d like to hear about why you stopped blogging and I’m with you on numbers 8 - 10.
It’s hard for bloggers to come up with things people don’t already know. Often, we’ve used up everything…
Good job old boy! Care for a spot of tea.
Time machine? Oh boy, let’s go!
I think that Speedy needs to switch from coffee to tea. Maybe even herbal.
Hey, thanks for the mention & playing along.
Sure thing!
