The Snow was This Thick!

The snow was that thick!
Which isn’t that much, mind you. But, this is southern Ohio, where a 1/8″ of snow is pronounced as the “White Death” so this amount is like the apocalypse or something.
How thick? I don’t know. Look at the picture. I suppose I could measure the tires on the car and from that calculate the thickness of the snow but that sounds like a whole lot of work for no payoff. So, we’re not going to do that. Feel free to measure your own car’s tires and make your own calculated estimates as to the thickness of the snow from that.
Note to self: Carry a ruler in the camera case.
I have a bunch of small wooden rulers that I was using for a marketing effort a few years back. Still have ones left over. They’re like 4 or 6 inches in length. Should fit in my camera case. I should put one in there.
Maybe I should lacquer the ruler first? Because it’s going to need some protection if I’m going to be dipping it in snow.
Anyway, that snow (and the picture) was from Saturday. My 151st photo of the year, by the way.
More snow coming today. Already got a bunch. There’s a lull at the moment, but we’re supposed to get more later.

the snow thats falling here in NJ TODAY - is much thicker and heavier then the snow we had last Saturday. And, its a MESS!
My snow is deeper, and could easily beat up your snow
