I Don’t Know Where the Pins Are

As I mentioned last Friday, “The Friday Phone-In,” some potentially exciting things could be happening.

It all rested on various pins.

At this point, the pins are scattered all over the place, and I don’t know where they all are or if I can get them all into place.

It’s like there’s something just within your grasp, but someone keeps pulling the string and putting it further and further out of your reach, and you’re just not sure whether you can find a way to extend your grasp and get a hold of the thing.

Meanwhile, you’re suffering the mantra of: Want. Want. Want. But also realizing that: Need. Need. Need.

There’s also the realization that it would be a good thing. But, I remain unsure whether I can make it happen. I can think positive and imagine it and picture it happening, but, you know what, things just don’t fall into your lap because of wishful thinking.

And, visualization and all that jazz just makes it that much harder to deal with if it ultimately doesn’t materialize.

Look forward to finding out more as things progress.

Visualization can certainly help prepare us for something if and when it happens, but I agree that it won’t necessarily make it happen — except perhaps in the sense of motivating us to be proactive in pursuing it.

Hope it works out for you!
