Already, I’ve had to change the sales page. I thought the original (which is here, until I change it…) had the potential to go viral.

Remember, back in the day, when I use to do the viral linking to other blogs? Well, those were always popular, so I thought I’d try doing that with a sales page.

I was quite happy with the results. In fact, I had finished the sales page long before the book was finished, and couldn’t wait until the book was done so I could get the sales page out there.

Well, it didn’t prove as popular as I had hoped. Didn’t generate much interest or sales. People liked it, but the general buyer wasn’t really responding.

So, today, with the help of some friends, I did a new sales page. You can see it here: “[FINALLY!] Stop Procrastination–You’ve Never Seen a Guide Like This for Product Creation!”

The book is sort of comic book format, and now the sales page is too. I was told that the previous sales letter probably made people think the whole book was going to be in rhyme, and that may have been turning off buyers.

So, we’ll see how the new page goes. I did keep in some of the rhymes though. No sense wasting good material.
