Mushrooms in 3D!
Actually, it’s a stereograph and not true 3D (which would be a hologram).
But, at any rate, here is a simulated 3D image of some mushrooms.
I don’t know what kind of mushrooms they are. They just appear in the yard when there’s been a lot of rain—and there has been a lot of rain lately!—and are usually gone the next day.
They are sneaky that way.
So, I have to remember to take a photo right away because if I wait until the next day, the mushroom will surely be gone.
And, by the way, if procrastination is a problem for you, you should check out my book.
Anyway, here is the stereograph:
To see it properly, you need to be the right distance from the screen and cross your eyes, so that your right eye is looking at the left side of the image and your left eye is looking at the right side of the image. If you’re not used to doing this, it will take a bit of practice before it becomes clear. When your eyes aren’t aligned right, you’ll see double. Keep crossing your eyes until you reach the point where the double image merges into one.
And, yes, WordPress is letting me upload photos now, but only once per month.

OMG! YAY! You were able to post a photo!
