Photo Phriday: Old Desk

Old Desk 81019

We “inherited” this desk with the building.

It’s an older metal desk, probably from the 1980s. Maybe the 1990s. Metal but the drawer pulls are plastic coated to look like metal. No key for the locks so can’t lock it.

Had a bum leg, but I fixed that.

The chair was “inherited” too, but the desk and chair are now separated. Sad, I know. But the desk is now paired with a chair that has wheels, which makes using it a little easier. No worries; the chair is still among the living. It’s in one of our meeting rooms for now.

Boy Howdy, that’s an ugly chair, sir. I would imagine the desk is happy to be separated.

I’ve had desks like that assigned to me - you know how it goes, most of the time the consultant is treated with the desk no one wants…..it’s the times that you get an office and a nice desk that are the most comfortable. Not always the best gigs, just the most comfortable.

I agree Michael - ugly chair and looks vintage 80’s

You’re both wrong. The chair is awesome.
