Michigan Monday, or Yet Another Reason Pete will Never See a Guest Post from Me
Monday, August 4th, 2008
This weekend, while on a road trip, I took a bunch of pictures with my camera phone, in part thinking I could finally do a guest post for Pete. This morning, I saw that Pete is doing Grayscale Week this week.
So, in anticipation of what is no doubt going to be Duotone Week next week, I decided to take one of my photos and turn it into a tutorial into doing Almost Instant Aged photos. The photograph above may look old, but it was taken this past weekend. In color.
The shot is somewhere in Michigan. This past weekend was a great weekend for cloud shots. Too bad my regular (high resolution) camera doesn’t do better with clouds!
Unfortunately, I messed up in my “tutorial” and I don’t really feel like doing it all over again. So, no tutorial for Pete! Maybe I’ll try again later.

Link love is in the offing for anyone who can correctly identify where I went wrong!
